Kate Middleton Attends Beating Retreat in Lead Up to Big Trooping the Colour Celebration — Pics!
Quite the event! Just a couple of days before the highly-anticipated Trooping the Colour celebration, Kate Middleton was spotted attending the Beating Retreat on Horse Guards Parade in London — and she looked fantastic!
The 37-year-old wore a lovely cream Catherine Walker coat, accessorized with a pair of heels and a clutch bag when she arrived at the event on Thursday, June 6. The Duchess of Sussex also had a shamrock brooch on. Beating Retreat is held over two nights, and it is a wonderful lead up to Queen Elizabeth‘s birthday celebration, which is scheduled to take place on Saturday, June 8. It is believed that Kate’s youngest son, Prince Louis, will be making an appearance on the Buckingham Palace balcony for his first time ever. Meghan Markle, who is on maternity leave after giving birth to her baby boy Archie, is also expected to be there.
As for Beating Retreat, Prince William‘s wife took the salute at the military parade that helps herald the Queen’s celebration. It was the first time that Kate has ever been given this honor — her husband and Prince Harry have previously carried out the role.
