In honor of his first Easter, Joanna Gaines shared adorable pics of her baby son, Crew Gaines, as he celebrated the holy holiday. “I was either going to stick him in a patch of bluebonnets or carrots,” the Fixer Upper star wrote in a series of pics she shared on her Instagram story of the sweet 10-month-old playing with carrots in her garden.

At first, Crew looked totally out of place as he sat on his little tush with a confused mug. “Really mom?” the 40-year-old wrote in a thought bubble as Crew investigated the vegetable. “Wait, this is kinda fun,” she added in the next pic of Crew, who looked quite intrigued. Then the youngster — who Jo welcomed in June 2018 with her husband Chip Gaines — began smiling as he posed for the celebratory snaps. “Carrots for the win!” Jo wrote.

The brunette beauty continued to joke, adding that next Easter, she’ll make sure baby Crew’s photoshoot will be in a patch of bluebonnets. Joanna then shared some warm wishes to her fans on the blessed celebration. “Happy Easter from the Farm!” Jo captioned a pic of her hubby and their two daughters, Ella Rose, 12, and Emmie Kay, 9. The lifestyle gurus are also the parents to sons Drake, 14, and Duke, 10.

Since welcoming her fifth child last year, Jo and Chip have had to adjust to life as the parents to a newborn baby. While juggling their hectic professional lives and raising five kids can be difficult at times, the We Are the Gardeners author recently gushed that Crew has awakened a youth in her that she’s never known.

“I kid with people, ‘If you ever want to feel young again, have a baby at 40,'” the HGTV alum dished to People in late March. “It’s brought this whole new thing for me where I’m a lot more laid-back. People joke that I’m the ‘Fun Jo’ now.” Joanna even added that her youngest child has changed her outlook on life. “I realized there has to be spontaneity, and schedules kind of go out the door,” she explained to the outlet. “It’s like, ‘Hey, if I don’t get to it, it’s fine.’ I’ve just relaxed so much more, and it’s been fun for me.” We can’t get enough of this family!
