So Cute!Joanna Gaines Reveals Her 6-Month-Old Son Crew Is Already Saying ‘Mama’
For Joanna Gaines, time is passing by way too quickly for her liking. The mom-of-five took to Instagram on Tuesday, Jan. 1 to give some insight on how her baby Crew‘s recent milestone has inspired her New Year’s resolution for 2019.
“Crew is already 6 months old and saying ‘mama,'” Jo gushed. “I had to throw that in there, sorry,” the 40-year-old said of her husband, Chip Gaines. Take a look at the post below.
Beside welcoming baby Crew on June 23, Joanna is the mama to 13-year-old Drake, 12-year-old Ella, 9-year-old Duke, and 8-year-old Emmie. After announcing Crew’s exciting news, the Fixer Upper alum pondered about how quickly time has gone and stated that her 2019 goal is to not take any moments for granted.
“I’m challenging myself in this new year to live for now. The present. Taking in every breath, every sight, and sound and holding it dearly,” the brunette beauty wrote in the caption. “Not thinking about how the good ol’ days have passed us by or how the best is yet to come. But that right now, this very second, this is the gift. These are the days. These are the moments. And I’m gonna breathe them all in. If there’s pain and sorrow, or happiness and hope, let it in and then let it out.”
Even though Jo and her hubby, Chip, 44, only have two years until their oldest son, Drake, starts driving and four before he goes away to college, the duo has many exciting things to look forward to this year. In November, Chip and Jo announced that they are making a return to TV after announcing in 2017 that Season 5 of Fixer Upper would be the last as they wanted more time to spend with their kiddos. They’ve also had their hands full with their new Target Line and the Magnolia Journal.
However, instead of having her head under water while juggling her personal life and work life, Joanna plans on taking it one day at a time. “Here’s to seeing and finding the beauty, the hope and joy in the right now in 2019. And for goodness sake, let’s have some fun while we’re at it!” she concluded. “It’s going to be a happy new year indeed. Believing that for all of us.”
