Janet — who is worth an estimated $175 million herself — “almost certainly” had a prenuptial agreement with her 42-year-old Qatari business magnate husband, [TMZ](http://www.tmz.com/2017/04/08/janet-jackson-splits-from-third-husband/?adid=TMZSearchResults) reported. Wissam’s net worth is thought to be a whopping $1 billion.

Though a $500 million payout for Janet has not been confirmed, many media outlets are alleging the “Rhythm Nation” songstress could walk away with that amount of money because she was married to Wissam for five years before their split.

Additionally, the couple recently welcomed their first child, son Eissa Al Mana, in January 2017, which could again up the ante for Janet’s prenup. Janet and Wissam previously tied the knot in 2012 and confirmed their separation to ABC News on Sunday, April 9.

“Sadly, Janet and Wissam have decided that it wasn’t working and to go their separate ways,” a source later told the Daily Mail in a statement. “They’re both busy people but determined to be good parents, even if they’re apart. It’s amicable and Eissa will stay with his mother, who is basing herself in London.”
