Heidi Klum shared a touching photo holding hands with her four kids on Instagram days after George Floyd died while being arrested by police.

“Unity in diversity,” she wrote in the caption on Saturday, May 30, with the hashtag #love. Klum shares her three children Henry, 14, Johan, 13, and Lou, 10 — with her second husband, Seal, and her oldest child, Helene, with ex Flavio Briatore. The Project Runway alum previously spoke out about racism when she heard about Gabrielle Union‘s controversial firing from America’s Got Talent.

“What I can tell you is that I am a fierce advocate for all people, no matter their race, age, religion, gender or sexuality. Everyone should be treated equally and with [the] utmost respect,” Klum told People in February. “Personally, I have experienced very hurtful things while being married to a man of color and having [four] beautiful children with him. While everyone’s challenges are different, I want nothing more than for a just world and for people to be kinder to one another.”

After the supermodel and Seal got divorced in 2014, Klum went on to marry guitarist Tom Kaulitz in 2019. However, she still coparents her children with the British singer.

“There’s always a reason why you’re not with someone anymore, you know?” Klum told Red magazine in March about their coparenting relationship. “It’s not all rosy-rosy. It just isn’t. So sometimes it’s hard, but then you have to all come together as a family and sometimes everything is just like hopping on clouds. It’s just the way it is.”

But despite their struggles, the America’s Got Talent alum and Seal have managed to make it work. Klum also loves the fact that she has a healthy relationship with Tom. “When we close our door and we’re at home, we just want to be with each other,” she said. “It’s just like the core is the same. The values are the same.”

Klum added, “You see so many times that someone falls in love and then it doesn’t gel as well, so I’m so happy and grateful that everyone is happy with one another.”

The TV personality is only one of out many celebrities who are disturbed by George Floyd’s death.
