Heidi Klum Confirms She and Much-Younger Boyfriend Vito Schnabel Have Split
What a bummer! Heidi Klum has confirmed she and her much-younger boyfriend Vito Schnabel have split. “I believe that it is important to take time to pause and reflect,” the 44-year-old star told People on Monday, Sept. 25.
Heidi’s announcement comes just days after it was reported she and Vito, 31, were “taking time apart” to re-access their relationship. “They’re taking time apart right now. Things have been difficult recently, they live on opposite coasts. And it’s the start of a school year and Heidi has to concentrate on the kids,” a source told People on Thursday, Sept. 14. Watch the video below for more details on Heidi and Vito’s relationship!
Heidi and Vito began dating in 2014. The model and independent art curator got together two years after Heidi announced her divorce from her second husband, singer Seal, in January 2012 after seven years of marriage. Heidi and Vito’s separation comes shortly after the TV star exclusively gushed to Closer Weekly about their romance. “We have an amazing connection, we have fun together, and we love each other. It doesn’t matter what people say — as long as you know when you close your door in your own home [that] you have an amazing time together,” Heidi told Closer in early August.
Before dating Heidi, Vito was linked to stars Demi Moore, Elle Macpherson, and Liv Tyler. The America’s Got Talent judge is a mom to four kids — Leni, 13, Henry, 12, Johan, 10, and Lou, 7 — with ex-husband Seal. She was also previously married to stylist Ric Pipino from 1997 until 2002. Here’s hoping Heidi and Vito reconcile their relationship soon and don’t call it quits for good!
