Get that moving truck ready! Meghan Markle and Prince Harry appear to be set to move out of their Cotswolds country home thanks to rising renovation costs and security concerns.

The Duke, 34, and Duchess of Sussex, 37, have a two-year lease on the incredible farmhouse, but apparently, that doesn’t matter, as according to the Daily Mail, the pair is washing their hands of it. A source tells the outlet that the reason behind the couple’s change of heart may be due to the belief that they are struggling to pay for the upkeep of two properties, with the other being Frogmore Cottage, which is expected to cost close to $4 million to repair. And even though the poor British taxpayers are footing most of the bill, Harry and Meghan have to bury their hands into their own pockets to pay for all fixtures and fittings.

Although, other insiders say that the reason for the move is actually due to security reasons. The property is “not situated on a heavily guarded estate,” and “not as heavily protected as it could be,” the source says. Plus, there is also some worry about the strain that their presence means for the local police force. In other words, it would be chaos if a pair of celebrities moved in next door.

If Harry and Meghan are indeed saying so long to their home in the Cotswolds, they will be saying goodbye to four bedrooms, two kitchens, floor-to-ceiling windows and a massive dining room. This lovely farmhouse, which dates back to the 18th century, also sits on four acres of private land and has a 4,000-square-foot total area of its own. It is said the twosome have hosted guests at the property before, including George Clooney and his wife, Amal Clooney, as well as tennis goddess Serena Williams.

For now, the royal couple will await the arrival of their first child together, and head on over to the very “safe and secure” Frogmore Cottage.
