Teamwork! Gavin Rossdale and Gwen Stefani may not be together anymore, but that doesn’t mean that they are not seeing eye-to-eye when it comes to parenting, as the Bush frontman recently opened up about their kids situation.

“You know, we both manage to feed them and get them to school on time, more or less!” the 53-year-old rocker told Us Weekly at the world premiere of John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum in Brooklyn on Thursday, May 9. The pair share sons Kingston, 12, Zuma, 10, and Apollo, 5.

“They are doing really good,” Gavin said of the three young boys. “They’re really happy, and that’s it. We’re doing the best we can.” As for the advice he shares with this children, the musician told the outlet, “To be a whole, interesting and considerate human being that makes this world a better place. That’s it, that’s all I tell them!”

The former couple tied the knot in 2002 but parted ways in 2016. They have both been quite open about the split too. The No Doubt singer once told Glamour in an interview, “[Marriage] was the one thing I didn’t want to fail at. People can say whatever they want to about me, and I don’t get too affected. But I didn’t want them to think I was a failure.”

The “Glycerine” singer also discussed his divorce with The Sunday Times. “It’s like enough already. I’ve got to move on. Everyone has got to move on,” he told at the time. “For me, it’s just thinking about [our three sons] and how to prioritize them.”

He added, “That’s the driving force behind everything. You just have to … I don’t know. Somehow you have to put one foot after the other and make it happen.”

It is nice to hear that Gwen and Gavin are still working together and making sure their kids have both of their parents!
