Go, Kingston! Gwen Stefani And Gavin Rossdale’s Son Performs At West Hollywood Nightclub
It looks like the musical apple doesn’t fall far from the tree! On Oct. 29, Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale‘s 12-year-old son, Kingston, was spotted rocking out with his band, Wild Card, in West Hollywood — and we can’t even begin to imagine how proud Gwen is.
According to an Instagram fan account called Gwen’s Boys, the mother-of-three went to see Kingston perform at the Whisky a Go-Go while wearing a Wild Card t-shirt. How cute! The account also noted that Kingston’s brothers, Zuma, 10, and Apollo, 4, were in the audience, too.
As it happens, the Whisky has catapulted a number of iconic bands into complete and utter stardom including The Doors, Van Halen, Guns N’ Roses, Linkin Park, and even Gwen’s band, No Doubt!
Thankfully, a booking manager for the famed venue Jake Perry was able to capture a snapshot of Kingston and his bandmates doing their thing. Kingston is in the far right corner playing the electric guitar. Apparently, he’s also been known to be a vocalist every now and again.
It’s really no surprise to see any of Gwen and Gavin’s kiddies gravitating toward the stage. After all, Gwen has been a singer/songwriter since 1986! In fact, the now-49-year-old was just 17 (with braces, no less) when she came onto the scene.
As for Gavin? He’s also a singer/songwriter who has been making music on and off with his band, Bush, since 1992. Basically, Kingston’s future as a rock legend is written in the stars.
Oh, and of course, there’s Gwen’s boyfriend, Blake Shelton. Not only is Blake one of the biggest country music stars in the world, but he’s also a beloved coach on the hit singing competition The Voice.
Between his mom, dad, and (hopefully) soon-to-be stepdad, Kingston has every opportunity to play venues all over the world. Good luck, kid! We have no doubt you’ll pull it off.
