Two months after welcoming their first child together, David Arquette has popped the question to girlfriend of three years, Christina McLarty, his rep confirms.
According to various reports, the actor proposed to the ET correspondent at Mastro's Ocean Club in Malibu, where he will be hosting a Fourth of July celebration on Friday.
"He wanted his family to be with him when he did it," a source told People magazine. "They are going to vacation in Aspen to celebrate."
Soon after David's split from first wife Courteney Cox in 2011, he began dating Christina and the two announced they were expecting last November. They welcomed son Charlie West on April 28 of this year.
The Scream star's engagement comes just one week after ex Courteney announced her engagement to boyfriend of eight months, musician Johnny McDaid.
The Friends actress shared the news via Twitter, posting a picture of her fiancé and writing, "I'm engaged to him!"
David and Courteney were married 11 years and have a 10-year-old daughter, Coco, together. Their divorce was finalized in May 2013, but they remain good friends.
