She’s on cloud nine and Courteney Cox won’t come down! The Friends star recently opened up about her relationship with partner Johnny McDaid in a new interview and, to put it simply, she seems happier than ever.

While speaking with People, the 54-year-old actress began by recalling a perfect night out in NYC. “It’s gorgeous, cold and crisp. I was having dinner with one of my close friends, sitting at the bar at Elio’s eating the greatest Italian food and just had a ball. I just thought, ‘You know what? I’m at a great place in my life, I’m in New York with my guy and with my friend, and my daughter is safe at home,’ and everything just felt so good. I remember saying, ‘I love this moment,'” Courteney said.

Courteney and Johnny, 42, previously got engaged back in 2014, later split and then got back together. In another interview, the mom-of-one said she doesn’t feel pressured to tie the knot with the Snow Patrol rocker because she feels “married in my heart.”

While attending a gala in NYC this past October, both Courteney and Johnny opened up about their relationship today. At the time, the musician said the term “husband” was just “a label.” And when asked if they’d eventually hold a wedding ceremony, he replied, “We have one every morning when we look at each other. My thoughts are never without Court. She’s my best friend. She’s my partner, in everything.”

“I don’t know if you can put a label on what makes us work, but I know that I’ve never loved like I love this woman, so if that’s enough, then that’s enough,” Johnny once told People of his relationship with the actress.

Prior to her romance with Johnny, Courteney was married to actor David Arquette from 1999 until 2000. The former couple — who share daughter Coco Arquette, 14 — finalized their divorce in 2013. Luckily for Court, she and David are on great terms today and remain great coparents to their daughter.
