Age is clearly just a number for Christie Brinkley! The 64-year-old supermodel (yes, you read her age correctly!) was photographed out and about in New York City on Thursday, January 17 at the Season 2 premiere of Lifetime’s American Beauty Star looking better than ever just two weeks before she’ll ring in her 65th birthday on February 2.

For the special event, Christie looked beyond gorgeous in a head-to-toe winter white outfit. She rocked a long-sleeved, tweed mini-dress adorned with fringe at the cuffs and hems under a glam white fur coat. The mom-of-three accessorized the evening ensemble with minimal jewelry, a pair of gold Christian Louboutin pumps and a matching gold clutch.

Though she’ll soon ring in her 65th birthday, Christie recently told Closer Weekly in an exclusive interview that turning 64 “didn’t make me feel old.” She explained, “I’m not going to let that number make me feel old. I’m going to kick my birthday off with a party!”

“The best part of being my age is not really caring what other people think,” Christie told us. “I’d been wanting to move back to New York, so I just got myself an apartment. Don’t hesitate. Just get out there and go! That’s what I’m doing.”

In addition to her positive views on aging, Christie’s overall outlook on life is just as rosy. “An attitude of gratitude is the first thing people see when you walk in the door,” she told Closer. “There’s so much to be grateful about, and it’s so much fun to be happy!”

Happy was definitely the vibe Christie was giving off when she stepped out for the American Beauty Star screening and panel on January 17. The supermodel currently serves as a judge on the reality competition that is described by IMDb as: “Twelve competitors from all facets of the beauty industry, battling head-to-head in a series of intense challenges, from creating high-end magazine editorial looks to the hippest and most current red carpet styles for a Hollywood premiere.”
