It’s official! Chip Gaines and Joanna Gaines will soon be retuning to TV with their very own “lifestyle-focused network.” Although they haven’t completed their new project quite yet, the couple is apparently not worried about how they’re going to balance their family and work life. According to In Touch, Chip and Joanna will have no problem working on their television network while also continuing to be loving parents to kids Drake, 13, Ella and Duke, both 12, Emmie Kay, 8, and five-month-old baby Crew.

“Having five kids isn’t stopping Chip and Joanna from expanding their business ventures. They’re expert multitaskers,” a source recently told In Touch in the magazine’s latest issue. “Even after giving birth to Crew, Joanna remained heavily involved in the business side of things — she has always been a go-getter. They couldn’t be happier about making their TV comeback!”

Chip and Joanna previously left their hit HGTV show, Fixer Upper, in 2017 because they wanted to spend more time with their family. And now that they’re partnering with Discovery, the husband and wife duo will be able to make their own schedules.

“It’s going to be filmed a lot in Waco, TX so we don’t have to travel a whole lot. So, all things being equal, we could not be more excited,” Chip recently explained to Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show.

He also said that their network will be great for families to watch. “You’re gonna get to see the kids grow up, you’ll get to see us — maybe a six-month delay like the rest of the world, but we’re excited to be back.” A rep for Discovery added to In Touch that they are hoping to “build a different kind of platform for unique, inspiring, and family-friendly content.” Sounds exciting!
