‘Fixer Upper’ Star Joanna Gaines Shares Sweet New Video Of Son Crew ‘Watchin’ His Mama’
We’re not crying, you’re crying! Crew Gaines may never appear on an episode of Fixer Upper, but he sure does get a lot of airtime on mom Joanna Gaines‘ Instagram stories. The former HGTV star took to the social media platform to share the cutest clip of her tiny tot “watchin’ his mama” while she filmed a commercial for Target.
The new mom-of-five gave birth to Crew on June 23 — not long after announcing she and her husband, Chip Gaines, would be leaving the spotlight to focus on their business and family. And even though the parents were thrilled about adding to their brood, Jojo admitted that it was a total surprise.
“I had been feeling a little emotional and crazy and thought, ‘Wow, this isn’t me,’” the 40-year-old revealed to People prior to welcoming their son. “Then all of a sudden I realized, ‘Hey, I remember this.’ When I saw the results of the test, my jaw dropped. Chip was in the driveway about to leave when I called him back and said, ‘We’re pregnant!’ He was so excited. We’re both just so excited.”
Nobody was more excited, though, than their darling brood: Drake, 12, Ella, 11, Duke, 9, and Emmie Kay, 7. “The best thing about all of this is the excitement that my kids have shown for their new baby brother,” Joanna told Life & Style at the time, adding that Chip also surprised the family with both a kitten and a puppy recently.
“Since I had our first four babies so close to one another, none of them actually remember me being pregnant. They love my growing belly (and boy is it growing), and they cannot wait to meet him.”
And don’t worry, despite rumors that Jo — and her hunky hubby — “neglect” their kids (ugh), it seems like they’re so proud of all of them. Most recently, Chip took to Instagram to gush about daughter Ella’s secret talent: Photography! “Good morning! #FarmLife Photo by: Ella,” he captioned the stunning shot. Honestly, could this crew be any cuter?!
