Celebrity Couples Who Got Married on Valentine's Day: See the List!

Who wouldn’t want to get married on the most romantic day of the year? Well, many celebrity couples actually have and we decided to give you all a nice reminder on who has exchanged vows on February 14 in the past.

While you may sometimes forget your own wedding anniversary, the pairs in this gallery probably never had that problem (at least we hope not!). From Dennis Quaid and Meg Ryan to Salma Hayek and her husband, François-Henri Pinault, these couples decided to use the holiday that people shower each other with roses and chocolates in the hopes of making it the most memorable and romantic wedding celebration ever.

Some of these duos are still together, like Salma, who once exclusively told Closer Weekly that she and Francois “support each other in everything we do. We don’t have a strong social life because we really like to spend time together.” How sweet! In fact, back in 2018, the loving pair even decided to renew their wedding vows after almost 10 years since tying the knot.

“The summer is coming to an end and my best moment was when my husband surprised me with a vow renewal,” the Frida actress gushed at the time via Instagram. “It was not what I would have chosen to wear to my wedding but I was told I was going to the spa! #luckyinlove #wedding.”

“[François] is the best husband in the world,” the A-lister told Town & Country in an interview. “I get to be who I am with him, and I don’t feel that somebody tries to limit me.” However, don’t ask Salma how the duo met, as that will be kept close to her chest. “I’m not going to tell you,” she said.

“It’s such a romantic, amazing story, but it is mine. I don’t want to vulgarize it by making it into a story to make myself interesting,” she added. So much mystery! The couple share daughter Valentina Paloma Pinault, born in 2007.

Meg Ryan and Dennis Quaid, 1991

These two lovebirds said “I do” on Cupid’s day in 1991 and later had a son, Jack, the following year. Unfortunately, the pair announced their split in 2000. The You’ve Got Mail star got engaged to longtime boyfriend, rocker John Mellencamp in 2018, but they split the following year. Dennis wed for the fourth time on June 2, 2020, tying the knot with girlfriend Laura Savoie.

Roseanne Barr and Ben Thomas, 1995

Long before she was fired from the Roseanne reboot, the comedian caught the eye of her personal bodyguard in the mid-1990s and they got married. The two also had their reception at Planet Hollywood, which sounds incredible. Roseanne and Ben had one child together, a son named Buck who was born in 1995, before they called it quits in 2002.

Prince and Mayte Garcia, 1996

We talk a lot about royalty, but this time we need to discuss another Prince: the late musician married one of his backup dancers when she was 22 and he was 37 on V-Day. They soon had a son, who sadly passed away just a week later. The couple called it quits in 2000 and in 2016, the “Purple Rain” singer tragically died.

Sharon Stone and Phil Bronstein, 1998

After only nine months of dating, the pair skipped an engagement and got married on Valentine’s Day 1998. It didn’t last, though, as the duo officially said their goodbyes in 2004, but not before adopting a child together, Roan Joseph Bronstein, in 2000. Phil moved on and has been married to Christine Borders, whose dad is the cofounder of Borders book store. The Basic Instinct actress has not been married since, but she did go on to adopt two more kids.

Keri Russell and Shane Deary, 2007

Keri didn’t marry a famous face when she said “I do” to Shane, a carpenter, in February 2007. The duo had two children together, River, born in 2007, and Willa, who came along in 2011, before splitting in 2013. The Felicity alum had a third child in 2016 with her The Americans costar, Matthew Rhys.

The actress and the French billionaire walked down the aisle on Valentine’s Day in 2009. While this was Salma’s first marriage, it was François’ second. The couple loved their wedding so much that they married again just two months later, this time in Venice. Together the pair have one daughter, Valentina Paloma Pinault.
