Country music star Carrie Underwood got candid at the 2018 CMT Artists of The Year award show Wednesday, Oct. 17, admitting that although this pregnancy is going well, it’s undeniably harder than her first. “It’s definitely different than the first time,” Carrie told ET on the red carpet at the award show. “When they say every pregnancy is different, it really is. Just different symptoms. I feel like this one is just a little harder on my body for some reason. But it’s been really good.”

The “Cry Pretty” singer hit the red carpet in a Tadashi Shoji long-sleeve, sequin dress with cutout detail just below the collarbone line. Both gorgeous and flattering, the electric blue color perfectly accentuated Carrie’s growing baby bump. Her thoughts on it? “I’m squeezing myself into whatever dresses I can squeeze myself into,” the singer, who is expecting in early 2019, said.

Carrie, 35, is married to former professional NHL player Mike Fisher, 38, and together, the couple shares a three-year-old son, Isaiah. The blonde beauty revealed to ET that Isaiah is excited to become a big brother, but he has one stipulation. “He says he won’t change any poopy diapers,” Carrie admitted. “I understand, maybe I can change his mind.”

Carrie, who says how great of a big brother she thinks Isaiah will be, revealed to CMT‘s Cody Alan in August how she and hubby Mike told their first born that she was pregnant. In fact, Carrie thinks that Isaiah may have figured it out on his own. She explained to Cody that it was over the summer when they were hanging at a lake with some friends. She was starting to show, and Isaiah “was just sitting there looking at my belly, and he starts squishing it with his hands,” Carrie revealed. “I kind of thought he was gonna go in to kiss it and I was like ‘this is about to be the sweetest moment.’ Somehow he knows.”

Carrie recently shared that she had endured three miscarriages in the last two years and admitted that she tried very hard to not allow herself to feel anger towards God. “My son, Isaiah, is the sweetest thing,” Carrie told CBS This Morning when talking about her miscarriages. “And he’s the best thing in the world. And I’m like, ‘If we can never have any other kids, that’s okay because he’s amazing. And I have this amazing life.'”

After convincing herself that she was blessed no matter what, there became light at the end of Carrie’s tunnel. The country star got pregnant for the fourth time, but ultimately feared she would have another miscarriage. She then admitted to CBS that she felt like God was hearing her prayers. Carrie said that the day she got pregnant for the fourth time “was like a Saturday, and Monday I went to the doctor to, like, confirm another miscarriage. And they told me everything was great. He heard me,” Carrie said referring to God answering her prayers with another little bundle of joy due in early 2019. We are so happy for Carrie, Mike, and Isaiah, and we can’t wait to see more of their growing family!
