Michael Douglas' ex-wife, Diandra Douglas, recently accused the actor and his second wife, Catherine Zeta-Jones, of "showing off" for the paparazzi and tabloids.
Her attack began when the 56-year-old was asked about the home in Majorca she still shares with her former flame.
Of reports suggesting Catherine had attempted to buy her share in the Spanish villa, Diandra responded, "It’s not true. Sometimes people say things without the slightest proof."
She continued, "Why would someone who doesn’t speak Spanish or the local Majorcan language or knows nothing about this culture want a house here? [Catherine] doesn’t even come here much."
Though Diandra is seen less often at the island resort, she said it's because "I don't believe in showing off," insinuating her ex and his wife like to make their presence at the home known.
"I’ve never sold photos or kept money from anything and I’ve always given everything away to charity," she added, possibly referring to the pictures Catherine and Michael sold to tabloids following their 2000 wedding.

"I’m proud to be able to say that I’ve never turned my private life into show business...Too much public exposure affects children."
Diandra and Michael share one son, Cameron, 35, who is currently serving time in prison for selling methamphetamine and heroin possession. The Oscar winner also has two children — Dylan, 12, and Carys, 10 — with Catherine.
Although the 69-year-old actor has claimed to be "very fond" of his first wife, Diandra reportedly went after half his salary and royalties earned from the 2010 drama, Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps.
While reports suggest she lost the court battle, Diandra counters she instructed lawyers to halt the claim after Michael was diagnosed with stage-four throat cancer the same year.
Despite any ill will, the former couple did present a united front last year when their son was sent to solitary confinement after drugs were found in his system. He has since been released back into the general prison population.
