We’re in tears! Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas just proved they’re like every other parent out there after they emotionally dropped off their 18-year-old son, Dylan Douglas, at college over the weekend.

“Let the lectures really begin! I love you, Dylan. Good luck in the next exciting and enlightening chapter of your life,” the actress captioned a clip with photos of the teenager in his Brown University dorm room on Instagram. To make us even more emotional, Catherine even shared throwback photos and videos from when Michael was a baby in the clip.

And fans couldn’t help but relate to the A-list couple after watching the sweet video Catherine put together for her son. “My gosh. My kids are tiny still but this video made me cry and laugh all at the same time just thinking about my kids leaving for college,” one fan wrote. Another added, “This is so cute! What a wonderful kid! You are blessed!” One commented, “Makes me tear up just watching. Hardest thing I have ever done was leaving my only son five hours away for college. You’ll be okay. Just keep busy.”

Catherine and her husband, Michael Douglas — the two married in 2000 — previously welcomed Dylan in August of that same year. They are also parents to a 15-year-old daughter, Carys. Michael is additionally a dad to an older son named Cameron, 39, from his first marriage to Diandra Luker.

In a previous interview, Catherine gushed over being a mom to two teenagers. “These years have been so important in that you never get them back,” she said. “I’ve got two great teenagers and I love them. I’ve had all this wonderful time and I’m so excited to see which way they’re going to go.” Good luck as a freshman, Dylan!
