As plans for an official engagement announcement were being prepared for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the palace was plunged into a state of distress as Prince William’s wife, Kate Middleton was rushed to the hospital in Marylebone, London, early last week.

According to Woman’s Day, the 35-year-old Duchess was released the following day. She was doing much better towards the end of last week and it’s believed Kate’s mom, Carole Middleton, stepped in to help her take care of kids Prince George, 4, and Princess Charlotte, 2.

The hospital visit has sparked rumors Kate is in the early stages of a third pregnancy as she experienced severe morning sickness while previously expecting both George and Charlotte. Many royal fans will recall Kate was diagnosed with hyperemesis gravidarum. In 2012, she was admitted to the hospital with the condition during her first pregnancy and then treated by doctors at Kensington Palace while expecting Charlotte. The illness is a complication of pregnancy that is characterized by severe nausea and vomiting, which can result in weight loss and dehydration.

The news of Kate’s recent hospitalization interestingly comes just weeks after the mom-of-two publicly talked about having “more babies” with hubby William, also 35. While speaking with fans at an event in Warsaw, Poland in mid-July, Kate was given a gift for a newborn baby, according to a royal correspondent for the Daily Mirror. After accepting the present, Kate reportedly turned to William and joked, “We will just have to have more babies!”

Though the world is eagerly awaiting another pregnancy announcement from Kate, Spiritual Medium Gina Marie DeLuca recently told Closer Weekly that Kate and William likely won’t be welcoming another baby in 2017. “Kate Middleton plays the perfect role as a supportive wife and royal, however, believe you me that she makes many of the [behind-the-scenes] decisions when it comes to family priorities,” Gina Marie revealed to us. “Spirit says now that Prince George and Princess Charlotte have arrived, security and building a solid foundation [for the kids] are at the top of Kate’s list. Baby-making will be put on hold for 2017 so Kate can relocate her family [to London] and make sure they’re safe and secure.”
