One year after Jackie Collins' death, the author's sister, Joan Collins, is opening up about how she's coped since her sibling's tragic passing.
"I miss her terribly. I have talked about it. Grief is process. I think I cried for two or three months then you get over it and accept it in a begrudging way," the 83-year-old Dynasty star said in a new interview.

"Then you get angry like why did this happen to her," Joan continued. Jackie sadly died at age 77 in September 2015 after battling breast cancer. Prior to her death, the novelist was diagnosed with stage four breast cancer in 2009 but chose to keep her illness a secret from her family.

"There's no good thing about it but the way around it is thinking of it like we are just in different places, as if she's just in LA," the English star added during her Wednesday, Sept. 7 appearance on the ITV show This Morning.
