The beloved actress recently rang in her 95th birthday surrounded by family, friends, and fans on Monday, April 3 — and now Doris is dishing about her celebration to Closer Weekly.

"My fans are all so kind and loving and I love them all!" Doris continued.
In addition to fêting her birthday with her fans, Doris also celebrated her milestone age with a "lovely, quiet day with a few of my close pals."
On the morning of Doris' birthday, the Associated Press funnily reported that the Hollywood icon was actually turning 95 years old, not 93 as she originally thought!
"There has long been speculation and rumors about Doris' age and we get this question a lot, looks like we finally have the answer," the actress's spokesman, Charley Cullen Walters, said in a statement at the time.

"The story I have heard the most is that at one point Doris was up for a role when quite young and her age may have been miswritten on the audition form. We don't know if that's correct, but if so it could've simply stuck for all these years."
In another recent interview with Closer Weekly, Doris opened up about her milestone birthday. "There’s no sense in having regrets," she exclusively confessed. "I think you have to get through the bad times to appreciate the good things in life."
"Sometimes I think I should have stayed longer [in show business] and I should have done more films," Doris said, adding she decided to leave Hollywood because she "got so involved with animals."
