The 44-year-old headed to Instagram on Wednesday, February 13 to announce to the world that the Victoria Beckham Beauty line will be launching soon. “Cannot wait to be able to share it with you,” she captioned the post. Take a look at the video Victoria shared about her new business below!
While details about the new line are minimal at the moment, the fashion designer did tell British Vogue, “I want to take care of women inside and out, providing them with the must-have items in makeup, skin care, fragrance and wellness that I feel I need in my own life.” She continued, “Just like I spend so much time in the fitting room getting to know what my customers want to wear, I’m going to be asking women to tell me which products they want me to develop for them in the beauty and wellness arenas. It’s important for me to know what they want.”
The former singer won’t be alone in this launch as she has teamed up with Sarah Creal, who once worked as head of marketing at Estée Lauder. “Victoria has an innate love of beauty that started when she was very young and has continued unabated,” Sarah said in a statement. “This authenticity is going to infuse the entire business strategy, and because everything will be directly overseen by Victoria, the line will be elevated and impeccably curated.”
Not only is David Beckham‘s wife kicking off a beauty line but she has also begun dabbling with a YouTube channel that she recently started. And now that she will have her own makeup, perhaps Victoria will be able to get Meghan Markle to try some. In fact, the Duchess of Sussex, 37, has already worn one of her dresses, something that made the former performer quite happy.
“I mean she looked so beautiful, it was such a lovely surprise to wake up to on Christmas morning,” Victoria gushed during her appearance on Live! With Kelly and Ryan on January 28. “You know, I think she’s such a beautiful, strong and wonderful woman — so it was a huge honor!”
Victoria’s new makeup line is expected to launch this winter.
