Susan Sarandon on Her Love Life: “My Sexual Orientation Is up for Grabs!”

Susan Sarandon is getting candid about her love life!

In a candid new interview, the 70-year-old Thelma and Louise star opened up about dating in Hollywood — and confessed her sexual orientation is currently “up for grabs!”

“I haven’t really had a large dating career. I haven’t exactly been in the midst of a lot of offers of any kind. I’m still not! I don’t know what’s going on!” Susan told pridesource.com.

“My sexual orientation is up for grabs, I guess you could say,” she continued.

During the sit-down, the actress also discussed her past relationship with late gay actor Philip Sayer. “I did at one point have a very successful and very loving and wonderful affair with a man who then wasn’t with another woman after me, and that worked out fine!” she said.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show star has been hitched once and has had several other long-term partners. She tied the knot with actor Chris Sarandon when she was just 20-years-old in 1967. The former couple later divorced in 1979 after 12 years of marriage.

In the mid-1980s, the actress dated Italian filmmaker Franco Amurri, with whom she has a 31-year-old daughter, Eva Amurri Martino. Susan was then in a relationship with actor Tim Robbins from 1988 until 2009. The duo are parents to two sons, Jack Henry Robbins, 27, and Miles Robbins, 24, together.

Since her split with Tim, Susan has dated Jonathan Bricklin but the two called it quits in 2015. In a previous interview, the Oscar winner discussed her 31-year age gap with Jonathan. “We’re not an ordinary couple,” she began.

“[But] when you are in love, the question of age, sex, color no longer hold any importance,” Susan added. “It’s the soul of a person that interests me.”
