It looks like our favorite Today hosts have some serious royal wedding fever! Despite gearing up to head across the pond for wedding coverage, Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb are not officially invited guests at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s May 19 nuptials. In fact, they’ll be stuck behind a desk the whole time — or will they?

While recently speaking with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show, the co-anchors were in high spirits about covering the royal wedding, even without a formal invite. “We are official wedding crashers,” Hoda laughed. “We’re not invited to the wedding. We’re just gonna dress up, and hang around.”

Savannah’s version of “dressing up,” however, isn’t exactly in line with the royal dress code. “People keep asking, ‘What are you guys gonna wear to the royal wedding?’ I’m like, ‘We don’t even have to wear pants.’ We’re sitting behind a desk! It doesn’t matter what we wear,” she joked. Pants or no pants, there is one thing the ladies are expected to wear. Savannah continued, “We have to wear fascinators. It’s like a tiny cowboy hat, but it does have a headband.”

By definition, a fascinator is “a woman’s light, decorative headpiece consisting of feathers, flowers, beads, etc., attached to a comb or hair clip.” The options are endless and both Kate Middleton and Meghan alike have been known to pull them off flawlessly.

We can’t wait to see which fascinators Hoda and Savannah choose to wear — on TV, that is. Of course, these ladies are far too professional to actually crash the wedding, but we do look forward to what’s sure to be amazing coverage come May 19!
