Savannah Guthrie’s Daughter Adorably Begs Her Mom For Ice Cream On This “Hot Hot Day” — Watch!
Summer is still here and Savannah Guthrie‘s daughter, Vale, has had enough of the hot NYC weather. In a cute video that her mom posted to Instagram on Wednesday, Aug. 29, the four-year-old adorably begs her mom to cool down in the most delicious way possible — eating ice cream!
Savannah began the video with her daughter making a competitive argument to eat the yummy treat. “Can I please get ice cream because it’s a hot, hot day?” Vale asked before she described the unbearable weather. “There’s steam coming out from the swim park!” But her mom jokingly replied, “So what?” Since Vale did not want to take no for an answer, she finally got her mom to change her mind. “So I wanna have ice cream today, please? Because it’s a hot, hot day,” she asked adorably. So Savannah replied, “I’ll think about it.” Watch the cute video below!
Savannah simply captioned the video, “Melting… on this ‘hot hot day.’ ☀️? #toddlernegotiations.” And the Today co-host’s fans could not get enough of the heartwarming video and agreed that Vale should eat ice cream. “Sooooo very precious! And she’s right! You need ice cream when there’s steam coming out on a hot, hot day!!! ??,” one fan commented. Another said, “Please Please. It’s a hot hot day! @savannahguthrie how could you say no to that smart girl!!”
Despite the heat, Vale has also been enjoying her summer too. She recently had two parties for her fourth birthday — one with her best friend and Jenna Bush Hager‘s daughter Poppy and another Wonder Woman-themed celebration with her immediate family.
Savannah posted a couple of photos via Instagram on Monday, Aug. 13 of her daughter dressed up as the superhero and her son, Charley, dressed up as Batman. “My little Wonder Woman is FOUR today,” she captioned the gallery. And in every pic, Vale couldn’t stop smiling!
