It’s already been 15 years since the final Sex and the City episode aired, but costars Sarah Jessica Parker and Chris Noth are still the best of friends.

“She follows him on social media and goes to see him in all his plays, sometimes two or three times,” an insider exclusively told Closer Weekly. “But this goes beyond just being his No. 1 fan. She just thinks he’s so hot, even at 64! She’s sorry they’re not doing a third SATC film because she loves working and spending time with him. The chemistry is intense, and he’s equally smitten.” The source added, “Chris is always singing Sarah’s praises when someone asks him about her. They may be happily married to other people but Sarah and Chris still have a huge connection that will never go away.”

Sarah, 54, played Carrie Bradshaw on the iconic HBO program, a character who had many ups and downs with her onscreen boyfriend known as Mr. Big, played by Chris. And it seems like their chemistry on the small screen has transferred over to real life, which is a great thing to see!

While a third film sequel to Sex and the City isn’t happening, perhaps the Law & Order alum should be happy about that as there were talks to apparently kill him off in the next film. “People close to Kim [Cattrall] believe the script for the movie didn’t have a lot to offer the character of Samantha,” James Andrew Miller once said on the podcast Origins. “They point to the fact that it calls for Mr. Big to die of a heart attack in the shower, relatively early on in the film, making the remainder of the movie more about how Carrie recovers from Big’s death than about the relationship between the four women.” Welp!

Well, Chris has nothing to worry about now as it seems his character will continue to live on in our hearts — and in Sarah’s heart, too.
