Samantha Markle Slams ‘Looney’ George Clooney for Defending Duchess Meghan

She’s at it again! Samantha Markle is not happy that George Clooney recently defended her estranged sister, Meghan Markle, and she took to Twitter this week to bash the actor.

“Hey Looney Clooney! Your lawyer wife should have taught you not to make statements without full facts,” the 54-year-old tweeted on Wednesday, February 13 about the Oscar winner, 57, and his wife, Amal Clooney, 41. “I doubt #GeorgeClooney would ghost his mother for no legitimate reason. Be quiet Georgie.”

This bizarre rant comes after the Ocean’s Eleven star came to the defense of the 37-year-old royal, who has been criticized left and right since she joined the royal family last year. “They’re just chasing Meghan Markle everywhere, she’s been pursued and vilified,” he recently said of the duchess, according to Australia’s Who magazine. “She’s a woman who is seven months pregnant and she has been pursued and vilified and chased in the same way that [Princess] Diana was and it’s history repeating itself. We’ve seen how that ends.” The actor was, of course, referring to the deadly crash that took Prince Harry and Prince William‘s mother away from them and the world in August 1997.

This is not the first person in Meghan’s circle that Samantha has bashed — she once slammed the former actress’ mom, Doria Ragland, too. “The world does not know that our dad raised her most of the time without the input of her mother especially from age 12 through high school and he gave her everything she had and is,” Samantha once tweeted. “She was never raised as an only child. Truth kids! He is amazing and successful and mags lie.” She added, “Glad you love people you don’t even know. But everything that you think you know from tabloids is a lie. Dad pretty much raised her most of her life on his own and Doria was not around very much.”

We should all probably expect more from Samantha as she’s set to release two tell-all books about Meghan and the Markle family soon. “There are actually two books coming out! In the Shadows of the Duchess I and II,” she tweeted late last month.
