What a throwback! Prince Louis was looking just like his uncle Prince Harry at Trooping the Colour, as the young royal wore the same clothes the Duke of Sussex did during the event as a toddler.

On Saturday, June 8, Kate Middleton and Prince William brought their youngest son, 1, to the royal celebration for the first time, as he made his debut on the Buckingham Palace balcony and waved to the fans down below. His siblings, Prince George, 5, and Princess Charlotte, 4, also enjoyed the day alongside their little brother.

Although there was one detail that really stood out — Louis’ outfit was the same exact one that Harry, 34, wore his second time at Trooping the Colour way back in 1986. In the photo from 33 years ago, Meghan Markle‘s husband is seen as a child being held by Princess Anne and wearing a white shirt with blue shorts. In fact, Anne was wearing a yellow ensemble, just like the Duchess of Cambridge, 37, wore.

This isn’t the first time that the royal family has paid tribute to yesteryear — In 2015, George showed up to the event wearing the same outfit his dad had on in 1984, proving that they are all about tradition.

This past Trooping the Colour was quite the event, as it featured the Duchess of Sussex, 37, making her post-baby debut five weeks after giving birth to her first child, baby Archie. Fans also got to see the former actress share a ride with Kate — the carriage also held Meghan’s husband as well as Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall.

While the newest royal member was not there, perhaps the little one will be at next year’s event. We will be interested to see if he is dressed like his dad from a past event or his uncle. We can’t wait to find out the route they take!
