No Way! Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Spotted Riding The Train Like Normal People
Royals, they’re just like us! Sometimes, that is. Newlyweds Prince Harry and Meghan Markle just proved how relatable they are when they recently rode the train on their recent visit to Britain’s Loughborough University. We bet you don’t feel as bad about your morning commute now!
Lucky for us, one social media user captured Harry, 34, and Meghan, 37, holding hands while walking to the platform in a very crowded train station. Seriously, how much more normal could the Duke and Duchess of Sussex get?
The duo attended the Coach Core Awards about 100 miles north of London on Monday, Sept. 24, where they met with honorees from the program that encourages young people to become coaches and atheletes. Meghan had fans laughing out loud when she took part in the passing drill wearing a fancy outfit and heels rather than sneakers.
This isn’t the first time the royals have been called out for acting like the rest of us. Just last week, Meghan made headlines when she was spotted closing her own door. Yes, you read that right. Apparently, that’s against royal protocol.
“The Duchess of Sussex closing her own car door is yet another silent signal that she is going to be doing things her own way and helping adapt and progress the British monarchy,” etiquette expert William Hanson told the Daily Mail. “Whether she thought long and hard about it before it happened, I doubt it, I suspect it was force of habit, but it is interesting to see that many have noticed as usually dignitaries have a member of staff to do this for them.”
Honestly, being a royal has been looking a lot easier than we thought. Sign us up!
