Last-Minute Bets Predict Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Are Having a Baby Girl

People may be busy gambling on all the basketball craziness of March Madness, but there seems to be another event people are rushing place their bets about: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s baby!

The gambling gods are still leaning towards the couple having a baby girl, as odds were recently cut, making people wonder if perhaps there’s a big chance the pair may have a princess.

“Following a significant bet this afternoon (Tuesday, March 26) we’ve slashed the odds of the royal baby being a girl from 10/11 to 1/2, with a boy now out to 6/4,” Betfair spokesperson Katie Baylis told Hello! Magazine. “This bet is one of the biggest we’ve seen on the royal baby markets this year so could be a big clue that we will have a new Princess in the coming weeks.”

Royal fans have been wondering what the gender of the lovebirds’ first child will be, but Harry, 34, and Meghan, 37, aren’t too concerned over it as they have decided to keep it a surprise. We do know one thing, though: The former actress is certain her kid will be a feminist. “I feel the embryonic kicking of feminism,” the Suits alum said on March 8 at King’s College in a panel discussion in honor of International Women’s Day. “I loved that — boy or girl, whatever it is, we hope that’s the case.”

And even if Meghan’s baby is a boy, she also discussed her thoughts on male feminists. “I’ve said for a long time you can be feminine and a feminist, you can be masculine,” she explained. “And I think in terms of masculinity you understand that your strength includes knowing your vulnerabilities and your sense of self and security, and your confidence comes from knowing a woman by your side, not behind you, is actually something you should not be threatened about — as opposed you should feel really empowered in having that.”
