Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Move to Frogmore Cottage Appears to Be Just Weeks Away

Time for a change of scenery. It seems like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are on their way out of Kensington Palace and on to their new home, Frogmore Cottage, in Windsor very soon.

According to ITV, the royal duo will be moving in March, so that gives them a couple of weeks to really get things ready for their big move. And that is also the same month that the Duke, 34, and Duchess of Sussex, 37, will have the lease on their Cotswold country home  end, so it looks like it will be a very busy near future for the couple. Oh, there’s also the matter of their first baby set to arrive soon too.

The duo has been going all out to finish renovations on their new residence, as they have been apparently “racing against time” to get it all completed. Getting their baby’s nursery up-to-par is also on the list. An insider recently told Us Weekly that it isn’t known if construction will be done in time as contractors are “cutting it close.” “They’re working around the clock to make sure interior work on Frogmore Cottage” can begin as soon as “the second contractors leave” they said. Although, the source also added that the pair is actually “calm” and “happy to go with the flow” during this chaotic time.

But when the royal couple finally move to their new home, they can expect to decorate it with some famous paintings. Queen Elizabeth is apparently allowing them to choose numerous pieces of art from her private collection. “Meghan and Harry have been told they can choose some artwork for Frogmore Cottage,” a source told Vanity Fair. “They have been presented with a list of paintings that would be available to them and they are making up their minds as to what they would like to hang in their new home.”

Frogmore Cottage, when it is all said and done, will be divided into five units, and it will have space for a gym, as well as a yoga studio so the family-of-three can stay healthy and fit.
