We can’t count how many great moments happened at the 2020 Oscars, but one we won’t forget is when Brad Pitt went over to talk to Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson at the 92nd Academy Awards.

When everyone was still bustling to find their seats, Brad, 56, went up to the Toy Story actor and the “Throw Me a Party” singer, both 63, to have a little conversation. The trio appeared to be deep in conversation as photographers captured the behind-the-scenes interaction.

However, the “Throw Me a Party” singer didn’t appear to be too alarmed because she continued to laugh and smile at Brad while her hubby looked on.

For the Hollywood event, the Ad Astra star won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor in Once Upon a Time … in Hollywood. When he took the stage to give his acceptance speech, Brad made sure to give his kids a shout-out in front of all his friends.

“Really incredible. Thank you to the Academy for this honors of honors,” Brad said while holding his trophy. “This is really about Quentin Tarantino — you are original, one of a kind. The film industry would be a much darker place without you, and I love the ethos you gave Cliff Booth.”

“Look for the best in people, expect the worst but look for the best,” he added. “Leo [DiCaprio], I will ride on your coattails any day, man. The view is fantastic. I also want to say, I think it’s time we give a little love to our stunt coordinators and crews. I am not one to look back, but this has made me do so.”

After he thanked everyone he needed to, Brad concluded his speech by referencing his 6 kids, who were probably watching at home. “Once upon a time in Hollywood, ain’t that the truth. This is for my kids, everything I do — I adore you,” he said.

We wonder if Brad, Rita and Tom went out for drinks later? That would be another great moment we wouldn’t want to miss!
