If Nicole Kidman‘s kids were asked to write a school essay about who they most admire, the subject would probably be their hard-working mom! Since Nicole travels to shoot movies but can also sometimes work from home, she recently shared with Entertainment Tonight that her youngest daughters, Faith Margaret, 7, and Sunday Rose, 10, are very fascinated by her Hollywood career.

“My kids are always like, ‘What is she doing now? Our crazy mama,'” Nicole revealed. “But it’s also interesting for them, I think, because they see me creating characters and, you know, they have vivid imaginations themselves and they construct stories, and so that’s all they know.”

Nicole’s young girls don’t have to wonder much about their mother’s job since they already know that she stars in a TV show that they are dying to see — Big Little Lies.

“My daughter is always negotiating with me to see Big Little Lies and I’m like, ‘No, no, no,'” the 51-year old actress recently explained at the OMEGA’s “Her Time” exhibition. “She sees snippets. [That said] it’s really good, I think, for your children to see your work and understand what it is. Then it’s theirs as well, so I talk about it.”

Nicole — who just finished shooting her upcoming movie, Aquaman — has her kids to thank for keeping her so hands-on with her work and family. She previously told Magic FM, “children keep you young” and for Sunday and Faith, they do just that! “There’s something true about their life force. They keep you engaged and they bring joy,” the proud mom-of-four added.

“My little one will say, ‘Please don’t wear your workout stuff to school this morning,” Nicole noted about her young girls who are her biggest critics. “Please blow-dry your hair. Please wear some makeup.’ I mean, that’s hard truth right there!”
