Before starring as the title character in Vinny, Joe, 74, appeared alongside Robert De Niro in 1980's Raging Bull and won the Best Supporting Actor Oscar for Goodfellas. He most recently scored roles in popular movies including The Good Shepherd and Love Ranch and The Irishman.

Marisa Tomei (Mona Lisa Vito)
Marisa, 52, gained international recognition for her role as Vinny's fiancée — for which she won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress — in My Cousin Vinny, and is now known as one of the greatest actresses of her generation. Since 1992 she has starred in hit films including What Women Want and Anger Management.

Ralph Macchio (Bill Gambini)
While he is most recognized for his work in the Karate Kid series, Ralph, now 55, has also starred in popular films including Crossroads and The Outsiders, and TV series' Ugly Betty and Eight is Enough. In 2011 he finished in 8th place on the reality competition, Dancing with the Stars.

After appearing as district attorney Jim in Vinny, Lane starred as Coach Jack Reilly in the 1992 Disney film The Mighty Ducks. One year later he landed his first major TV role as Perry White in Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman. Sadly, Lane passed away from ALS in 2005 at age 69.

Austin, 76, first rose to fame as an original cast member of the Broadway show Fiddler on the Roof. Since the late 1960s he been cast in over 120 film and television roles — most notably as Max in The Muppet Movie, the voice of Gurgle in Finding Nemo, and, of course, as the stuttering public defender in My Cousin Vinny.

Best known for his role as Herman Munster on the 1960s hit show, The Munsters, Fred's appearance in My Cousin Vinny was his last acting job before he sadly passed away from pancreatic cancer in July 1993. He was 66-years-old.
