Melissa Joan Hart Debuts ‘Sassy’ New Haircut on Instagram: ‘A Girl Walks Into a Salon’
Lookin’ good, lady! Melissa Joan Hart threw her fans off guard as she chopped off her bodacious blonde locks of hair and traded in her look for something a little different. The beloved Sabrina the Teenage Witch star shared her stunning new look in an Instagram post on Wednesday, January 22.
“A girl walks into a salon. The fabulous hairstylist @hair_by_roxie_b asks, ‘What are you thinking?'” the 43-year-old beauty hilariously captioned her selfie. “The girl says, ‘Whatever you feel like doing! I need a change and my husband won’t shave his beard so “long and blonde” isn’t necessary.’ Out walks a sassy strawberry blonde with bouncin’ and behavin’ hair!”
In the photo, Melissa — who is the proud mom of sons Mason, 14, Braydon, 11, and Tucker, 7, with longtime husband Mark Wilkerson — can be seen boasting a beautiful smile as she shows off her new ‘do. The Melissa and Joey actress’ style featured a super cute, faintly orange-colored bob that perfectly shaped to her face.
Fans of the Melissa Explains It All author quickly flooded her comments section with sweet compliments for her exciting look. “Really suits you, nicely frames your face,” one fan wrote, while another echoed, “You can rock any kind of hair-do… Go you!!” A third fan chimed in, writing, “Super cute! And I’m feeling inspired… I was thinking a change… loving strawberry blonde!”
Melissa’s choice to chop her long locks came days after she reunited with some former Sabrina the Teenage Witch cast members. The blonde beauty shared a super cute pic of their reunion as she, Nate Richert, David Lascher and Red Donovan sat around a table while out to eat. “TV dinner!!” Melissa captioned the photo of the crew.
Although Melissa’s new haircut couldn’t look better, the actress once joked about not having a good sense of style. While chatting with Closer Weekly in November 2017, the doting mom revealed why she isn’t the most confident when it comes to her fashion and look.
“I’m not great at dressing myself because I always worked on sets where people made my food, dressed me, did my hair and makeup, so I never learned how to do hair,” she exclusively confessed at the time. “I never really learned how to dress appropriately. I feel like those are things that take a lot of time with girls.”
