A Stylish Melanie Griffith Hits the Town in L.A. With a Fashionista Friend — See the Photos!

There’s nothing wrong with spending a little time with your friend. Melanie Griffith threw on a gorgeous ankle-length blue skirt and a sheer black top to travel around Los Angeles with a pal on Tuesday, September 24.

The two appeared to be deep in conversation and Melanie, 62, might have caught up with her friend after he did a bit of shopping because he was holding a few bags in his hand. Or, perhaps, he was being a gentleman and carrying Mel’s bags himself.

If you are thinking that the Working Girl actress and this aquaintance could make a good couple, don’t get ahead of yourself. Turns out, Melanie isn’t really looking for a significant other at the moment and is actually enjoying the single life these days.

“I’m not looking,” she exclusively shared to Closer Weekly about her dating life, adding that she is “having a blast” by simply being herself. “I’m an old-fashioned girl.”

Even though Melanie enjoys spending some quality time on her own, that doesn’t mean she has stopped looking for love entirely. “I think if one comes along, it’ll just be magic,” the mom of three explained. “But what am I going to do, go on Tinder?”

The Twins actress has been married four times to three different guys. She decided to give her first husband, Don Johnson, two shots at love when they tied the knot in 1976 — and getting divorced the same year — as well as in 1989. However, it didn’t work out and after they got divorced in 1996, Melanie went on to marry The Mask of Zorro star Antonio Banderas from 1996 until 2015.

“I am not married with Melanie anymore, but she is my family,” Antonio said about his ex-wife in a previous interview with Vulture. “She is probably one of my best friends, if not the best friend that I have.”

Together, the two share their 23-year-old daughter, Stella Banderas. Melanie is also a proud mom to daughter Dakota Johnson, 29, whom she welcomed with Don, and a son, Alexander Bauer, who she had with her second husband, Steven Bauer, whom she was married to throughout pretty much all of the ’80s.
