“Ok. I have been working out with Gunnar, @gunnarfitness, for seven years. I ADORE THIS MAN!!” the 61-year-old beauty wrote in the caption of her inspiring post. “He helps me keep my 50+11-year-old body tight and strong. He is also kind of my therapist … @kaileygdavis 🙏🏻 and Brad.”
In the clip that she shared, the Milk Money actress can be seen lifting weights, doing abdominal exercises, working out her arms, performing lunges and cardio. Melanie showed off her substantial amount of stamina as she worked out to singer Katy Perry‘s song “California Girls.”
The Hollywood film producer looked as beautiful as ever in a trendy pink and black patterned sports bra and a pair of black leggings. Melanie — who is the mom of Alexander Bauer, 33, actress Dakota Johnson, 29, and Stella Banderas, 22 — also sported a super cute messy bun!
The Roar star’s fans quickly flooded the post with admiration for her strength and willpower. “Congratulations Melanie! Your commitment to hard work has paid off. You look so healthy!” one user gushed. “You are truly an inspiration to all of us 50 plus ones. Your role model is something to aspire to. Thank you for sharing. You look fabulous, by the way,” wrote another.
Melanie’s trainer, Gunnar Peterson, also took to the comment section of her post to praise the stunning actress. “Absolutely made my day! Wait, what? You’re not 39 @melaniegriffith?”
Although Melanie has always had an envious figure, perhaps she is trying to get back in shape for a possible Hollywood return! In August 2018, the blonde beauty revealed she has no qualms about being asked to audition for new roles.
“I’m totally open to it,” Melanie shared with Closer Weekly, adding that she does find the process funny at times, though. “People go, ‘Wow, you’re really good!’ And I say, ‘Well, yeah, I worked forever. I know what I’m doing, so … thank you?’ People forget very easily in this business.” Melanie also gushed that she has “a whole new horizon to conquer” and more generations of women to inspire.
It looks like she’s already inspiring women to live their healthiest life!
