It’s been a few years since Melanie Griffith was last in love but, according to a source, the actress couldn’t be happier. In fact, the insider close to the Working Girl star recently told Closer Weekly that although she’s just fine living life as a single woman, Melanie wouldn’t say no if love came knocking on her door.

“She’s been dating occasionally, and she’s open,” the source exclusively shared with Closer, noting that the 62-year-old beauty “will definitely not get married again.” Even though Melanie insists she wouldn’t tie the knot for the fifth time, the insider didn’t seem too convinced. “That’s what she says now, but I think if she met the right guy, she would,” the source added.

While attending the Farrah Fawcett Foundation’s Tex-Mex Fiesta in Beverly Hills this past September, Melanie — who was married to Don Johnson briefly in 1976 until remarrying him in 1989 (and staying together until 1996), Steven Bauer from 1981 to 1989, as well as Antonio Banderas from 1996 to 2015 — got candid about her love life.

I’m not looking,” the Milk Money actress exclusively told Closer when asked what she looks for in a guy. “I think if one comes along, it’ll just be magic. But what am I going to do, go on Tinder?”

Melanie admitted she’s not too stressed about finding her next boyfriend considering she’s “having a blast” being single. “I’m an old-fashioned girl,” she said while explaining that if she meets someone new, it will be organically and not forced.

The news of Melanie’s possible future nuptials — or the lack thereof — doesn’t necessarily come as a surprise to fans considering the Oscar nominee has echoed that sentiment in previous interviews. While chatting with InStyle in August 2018, the Something Wild actress — who is the proud mom of Alexander Bauer, 34, Dakota Johnson, 30, and Stella Banderas, 23, from her three previous relationships — explained why she doesn’t see herself walking down the aisle for the fifth time.

“I really don’t think it’s relevant for anyone anymore, but especially if you’re 60 and you have kids and you’re living the life you’ve always wanted. Then why get married?” she questioned. “It’s, like, I would love to fall in love and have a romance, a relationship, but I haven’t. I keep looking. I’ve had a couple of lovers but not a relationship.”

It looks like we’ll have to stay tuned to see if Melanie finds love again!
