TV family forever! Wendell Pierce, who played Meghan Markle‘s dad on Suits, sent the pregnant royal well wishes as she gets closer and closer to her due date.

“It’s great to be living & working in London while the excitement builds around the Duchess of Sussex soon giving birth to her first child,” the 55-year-old actor, who starred as lawyer Robert Zane on the USA Network drama, tweeted on Monday, April 8. The message included a photo of the London Bridge. He added, “Meghan I’m very happy for you. Blessings.”

The actor was fortunate enough to be one of the lucky souls to attend the 37-year-old’s royal wedding to Prince Harry at Windsor Castle in May 2018.

“The thing I’ll say about it is that we all went as a family,” Suits creator Aaron Korsh once said of the memorable wedding day, to which many of Meghan’s former costars were invited. “When we all went, there were about 10 of us or something … it was unbelievable. I think it changed our lives in certain ways forever. But if it had never happened, we were a family on Suits for 10 years.” Aaron also revealed that the mother-to-be hasn’t changed at all since her acting days.

“Meghan is who she is,” the 52-year-old producer told Life & Style. “She’s a grown woman. She’s not in her 20s. I think she’s a fully formed woman. Meghan is the person that she was. I’m sure that being in that position, I’m sure would have some long-term changes, but she’s the same. I’m going to guess that she’s pretty much the same person she always was and adapting very nicely to the challenges.”

The ninth and final season of Suits is expected to premiere on USA in summer 2019, but Meghan will not be a part of it.
