Meghan Markle Reportedly Set To Lose Staff Member That ‘Will Be A Huge Loss’

Reports have recently stated that Meghan Markle has been working royal staff “around the clock.” So much so that Meghan’s assistant recently quit, with a source saying working with Meghan is like a scene out of The Devil Wears Prada. But now the Sunday Times is reporting that Meghan is set to lose another member from her staff, a key one.

The outlet is reporting the Duchess of Sussex and her husband Prince Harry will have to start looking for a private secretary because the current one, Samantha Cohen, is allegedly heading out once Meghan gives birth next spring. “Sam will be a huge loss,” the source said. “Going forward, Meghan might need someone cut from a slightly different cloth to traditional courtiers, who is not a career civil servant or royal insider.”

Samantha, 50, actually nicknamed “Samantha the Panther,” is an Aussie who has spend 17 years working for the royal family and was one of the Queen’s most trusted aides when she worked as an assistant private secretary. So yeah, it certainly seems that most folks may have to lie on their resume and make it as good as Samantha’s if they want a shot at filling her void. Samantha previously announced her resignation from that post last year, but then accepted a temporary job working for Meghan and Harry. Meghan allegedly wanted to keep Samantha around permanently but Samantha wasn’t about it. And this new report doesn’t bode well for Meghan’s reported behavior towards staff. It’s been such an issue that Kate Middleton reportedly had to tell Meghan to ease up a bit.

Before Samantha flips off her former employers and rides off in a blaze of glory, the source does reveal that she will be helping Meghan and Harry look for her replacement. “Samantha will assist the couple with finding her replacement in the new year,” the source said. Well that is certainly nice of her.

Now we can’t confirm if Meghan is a monster or not. But we are pretty sure that many people would gladly accept being berated left and right if it gave them a chance to work in the royal family. I mean, how much is your dignity actually worth? There’s some food for thought.
