Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle is brushing up on an old skill now that she’s a royal! According to a new report, Meghan, 37, is practicing her French in order to perfect speaking the European language. Apparently, when Prince Harry‘s wife visited London’s Hubb Community Kitchen last month, she mentioned that she’s been “trying to get better at my French over the last year,” the Daily Mail revealed.

And if you think French is Meghan’s second language, think again! The pregnant Duchess also speaks Spanish and allegedly learned the dialect while previously serving as an intern at the US Embassy in Argentina years ago. She also reportedly took French lessons for six years before becoming a royal so it sounds like she’s just returning to her studies today.

Meghan’s passion for learning foreign languages is just one of her many interesting skills. Before she tied the knot with Harry this past May, it was revealed that Meg is passionate about calligraphy and even taught lessons on the penmanship art during her early acting days. “The idea of someone taking the time to put pen to paper is really special,” she once wrote on her now-defunct blog, The Tig. “I’ve always had a propensity for getting the cursive down pretty well,” Meghan also said in the past, according to Life & Style. “When I was auditioning… I didn’t wait tables. I did calligraphy for [wedding] invitations, for, like, Robin Thicke, and Paula Patton.”

Meghan actually got to show off her calligraphy skills when she recently spent time making Christmas crafts with nursing home residents during a royal outing in Twickenham, England on Dec. 18. “Merry Christmas, Love, Meghan,” the Duchess wrote in perfect cursive on a paper ornament that was added to the border of a picture frame during the visit. She also flaunted her gorgeous signature by writing “Meghan” in the home’s guest book.
