Kelly Ripa Reveals She Once FaceTimed Andy Cohen Naked While He Was in Public: ‘I’ve Lived That Nightmare’

When Andy Cohen was in desperate need of some fashion advice from a good friend, he decided to FaceTime Kelly Ripa. However, his inquiry went horribly wrong when the Live! With Kelly and Ryan host realized that Andy, 50, was in public when she answered the call completely naked — yikes!

“I’ve lived that nightmare, the FaceTime nightmare. I’m going to give you a perfect example of why you text somebody and say, ‘I’m going to FaceTime you now,'” Kelly, 48, hilariously shared with her cohost, Ryan Seacrest, during the pair’s episode on Wednesday, February 27. “I’m at the gym, I’m in the locker room and, yes, I’m changing. Because I sometimes get naked when I change my clothes,” she sarcastically joked. “I see my phone, Andy Cohen wants to FaceTime. And I answer it and I go, ‘Hey!'”

What happened next was something that the All My Children alum did not expect. “Right away, I see that he’s with a group of people and he turns around and he goes, ‘Oh, sweetie. I’m at J. Crew,'” the blonde beauty called. “He and my friend Bruce Bozzi were trying to pick out a shirt for my son’s birthday. They wanted my opinion. They were with all the salespeople. And I was naked on FaceTime.” Attempting to get her to look on the bright side, Ryan, 44, joked, “And now you have a lifetime discount at J. Crew.” Ha!

This messy situation resulted from Andy needing her opinion on a gift for her son, Joaquin. But when it was time to wish her growing teen a happy birthday, Kelly couldn’t have been happier. In honor of turning 16, Kelly and Mark, 47, took to Instagram  on Sunday, February 24 to share sweet messages for their son along with cute pics of the teen.

“And then the newborn turned 16,” Kelly gushed in the caption of her photo collage. “Happy birthday Joaquin! You are the gift that keeps on giving. We all love you more than words can say.” Keeping it more short and sweet, the Riverdale star echoed what his wife said in her post to their growing son. “Happy Birthday baller … We love you.”

Kelly and Mark’s other kids, Michael 21, and Lola, 17, are known to get very embarrassed by their mom and dad. We wonder if this story of Kelly FaceTiming naked will have them cringing!
