Congratulations! On Monday, Oct. 15, Kensington Palace finally announced that Meghan Markle is pregnant and expecting her first child with husband Prince Harry. The news of Harry and Meghan’s baby coming in spring 2019 excited many royal fans, but Kate Middleton and Prince William are arguably the most overjoyed by Meghan’s pregnancy reveal.

Since William, 36, and Kate, also 36, already share three kids — Prince George, 5, Princess Charlotte, 3, and five-month-old Prince Louis — together, they know that a child can bring a family a lot of joy. And in a palace statement, Kate and William said they are “delighted” to hear that Meghan is pregnant, according to People.

Other members of the royal family have also congratulated Meghan as well. At Princess Eugenie‘s royal wedding on Friday, Oct. 12, Queen ElizabethPrince Philip, and Prince Charles reportedly told Harry, 34, and Meghan, 37, how happy they are for them to be expecting.

Friends of the royal family including Prime Minister Theresa May also wished the newlyweds the best. “My warmest congratulations to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex on the happy news they are expecting a baby in the Spring. Wishing them all the best,” she wrote in a statement.

The Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, didn’t waste any time showing how happy he is for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, too. “Congratulations to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex on their happy news! Prayers for them in the months ahead,” the Archbishop — who married Meghan and Harry at their May 19 royal wedding! — said, according to People.

Meghan has probably already started making a nursery for her new baby and, if we’re lucky, she may reveal the baby’s gender soon. If she has a girl, rumors are already swirling that she might name the baby after her mom, Doria Ragland, or her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana!
