She can’t wait to be an aunt again! Kate Middleton already has one little nephew, Pippa Middleton’s newborn son, Arthur, but this spring, she will welcome another little niece or nephew once Meghan Markle and Prince Harry welcome to baby No. 1. And to no surprise, the Duchess of Cambridge is so excited about the new addition to the royal family.
The 36-year-old paid a visit to Leicester, England, on Wednesday, Nov. 27 with Prince William to pay tribute to the city’s late football club chairman, Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, who died in a helicopter crash — and gushed over Meghan’s pregnancy at the event.
“Are you excited for Meghan and her new baby?” one fan asked. According to a video posted by a fan account, the mom-of-three replied, “Yeah, absolutely. No, It’s such a special time to have all kiddies and a cousin for George and Charlotte as well and Louis, so it’ll be really special.” How sweet!
Since Meghan announced she’s expecting in mid-October, Kate has stepped up as the best mommy coach to her sister-in-law. “Kate’s the one person who understands what Meghan is going through so she’s making it her priority to teach her how to balance her pregnancy with her royal duties in a healthy way,” an insider told Closer Weekly exclusively. “She’s so excited to show Meghan the ropes. The two have really bonded and they’re closer than ever!”
Perhaps that’s why Kate plans to throw the former American actress a baby shower in early 2019. “She’s a perfectionist, so she’s been prepping for it already,” the source added. “And she’ll invite Meghan’s closest pals from across the pond. Jessica Mulroney, Priyanka Chopra, Serena Williams, and Amal Clooney will all be receiving invites.” We’ll keep an eye out for our invite in the mail!
