Apparently, Duchess Kate Middleton Always Carries These 4 Items In Her Handbag — Take A Look!

Royals, they’re just like us, right? Well, sometimes. In this instance, Kate Middleton is totally relatable. According to Marcia Moody, author of Kate: A Biography, The Duchess of Cambridge carries four items with her at all times in her trusty handbags.

While the typical person (sorry to those who don’t qualify as British royalty) may usually carry their phone, keys, lipstick, and gum in their purse, Kate opts for things that are more practical for her. You’re probably thinking that the mom-of-three carries items that are extreme or something, but they’re actually normal, run-of-the-mill things that we could totally add to our bag as well.

First, you’ll supposedly find a compact mirror in Kate’s bag. See, that’s something we’d totally have, too! The Duchess, 36, having a mirror makes total sense considering her every move is practically documented, and it’s wouldn’t be so great if she had flyaways or something stuck in her teeth.

Next, she apparently carries a handkerchief. If you ask us, this tops priority over the mirror as we can’t imagine how many times this has come in handy when you have three little kiddos running around. Kate also carries lip balm, which is essential when your job pretty much requires making appearances all the time.

Finally, Kate reportedly also always has blotting paper. This is used for those shiny-forehead moments that can easily be fixed with some good, ‘ole blotting paper. If we were being photographed all the time, this would be a go-to item for us too. So we get you, Kate.

Well, there you have it. You’re probably wondering why Kate doesn’t carry a wallet or credit cards or even a phone, for that matter. Either Kate doesn’t need them or she simply doesn’t have enough room in her small clutches. Regardless, what she chooses to carry on her works for her, so that’s all that matters!

Plus, the more you carry, the more room you have for garbage. So we guess that would explain why when we rummage through our purses, we’re usually rummaging through receipt after receipt…
