She’s been one of Hollywood’s most stunning actresses ever since her big screen debut in the 1993 film Much Ado About Nothing. Now, at 46, Kate Beckinsale is still looking better than ever and a source close to the British actress just exclusively told Closer Weekly that she’s been maintaining her youth all these years in a completely natural way.

“Kate isn’t messing around when it comes to her looks and she’s totally ruling out plastic surgery,” the insider told Closer. “People have assumed that she’s had work done but that’s not true. The real deal is she just has impeccable taste and is a master of knowing what works for her and what doesn’t.”

The source even added that Kate — who is a mom to her 20-year-old daughter, Lily Mo Sheen, from her relationship with ex Michael Sheen — revealed that the brunette beauty is not only aging gracefully, but she’s doing it on a budget! “She also does a ton of her own shopping and works out regularly without a trainer, mainly because she’s paranoid that she’ll get overcharged if she did,” the insider explained.

Questioning whether the Underworld 2003 actress has dabbled with plastic surgery before isn’t a rude judgment to make considering she has the glowing complexion of someone half her age. But while the typical person assumes it takes thousands of dollars and tons of beauty regimes to achieve the younger look, the source insisted that Kate’s skincare routine is actually pretty simple.

“There’s no magic bullet to how she looks half her age all the time, but she isn’t shy about seeing a look in a magazine or even out in public and trying to figure out how she can reproduce it – or improve upon it herself,” the insider added. “Kate is the queen of elegance on the go and does it all on a pretty tight budget.” We hope we look as youthful as Kate when we’re her age!
