Jennifer Lopez’s Twins Max and Emme’s First Day of School Picture Is a Framer
Smile for the camera, kids! Jennifer Lopez’s twins Max and Emme did just that for their first day of school on Thursday, Sept. 7.
The siblings posed for their famous mom wearing their matching school uniforms — and we must say, it’s the cutest thing we’ve ever seen! J.Lo captioned the Instagram pic, “So proud of my babies… #NotBabiesAnymore #4thGrade #Love.”
Jennifer, 48, welcomed Max and Emme, both 9, with her ex-husband Marc Anthony back in February 2008. The pair was married from 2004 until 2014.
As we all know, the music sensation is one busy lady, but she broke our hearts when she previously revealed that her kids essentially need to schedule in quality time with her. “My son said to me this week, he goes, ‘Mom, I’d like to schedule… a picnic with you this week cause I know you’ve been, you know, working hard,” she revealed. “He was with me in New York, but still, he was like ‘Um I’d like to schedule a picnic for next Friday because we need more quality time.’ And I was like, ‘Okay baby.'”
However, the Maid in Manhattan star has admitted to their unconventional lifestyle. “We don’t have a normal life, I don’t have normal kids,” she said. “I’m not normal. So our life is not normal. I’ve come to terms with that.”
Jennifer has previously opened up about how she hates getting bugged about how she raises her kids. “Everybody’s like, ‘You should have them in school, they need friends.’ It drives me… it can drive you crazy,” she said. “They are super happy, well-adjusted, loving, caring kids, and that’s the most important thing. We’ll get them educated — homeschool is great for them, when we have to do it. The most important thing is that they’re with their mom — that they don’t feel abandoned by a parent.”
It seems she’s changed her mind though, as it can be assumed the brother and sister are leaving the house for school in their uniforms. “I want to be there with them,” Jennifer added of being a hands-on mom to her two kids. “I don’t want to miss [anything], it’s gonna go so fast!” Have the best school year, Max and Emme!
