Jennifer Lopez is getting candid about her and her family's unique life in the spotlight.
“We don’t have a normal life, I don’t have normal kids,” the 46-year-old singer said of herself and her twins, Max and Emme, both 8. "I’m not normal. So our life is not normal. I’ve come to terms with that.”

The busy mom admitted her life with Max and Emme is so unconventional that she often homeschools them herself while they are traveling. “Everybody’s like, ‘You should have them in school, they need friends.’ It drives me... it can drive you crazy," Jennifer recently told Fox 5 New York’s Rosanna Scotto, according to People.
“They are super happy, well-adjusted, loving, caring kids, and that’s the most important thing,” the star continued. “We’ll get them educated — homeschool is great for them, when we have to do it. The most important thing is that they’re with their mom — that they don’t feel abandoned by a parent.”
Jennifer and her ex-husband Marc Anthony, 47 — who were married from 2004 until 2014 — welcomed Max and Emme in February 2008.
“I want to be there with them,” Jennifer added of being a hands-on mom to her two kids. “I don’t want to miss [anything], it’s gonna go so fast!"
