Uh Oh!Jennifer Garner’s New Boyfriend Is Allegedly Still Technically Married And Reportedly Very ‘Controlling’

Maybe Jennifer Garner‘s reported new man isn’t as much of a Prince Charming fairytale as we’d hoped! John Miller may be a high-powered, handsome, rich lawyer, but he’s also still technically married to a woman who called him “controlling” during their bitter divorce proceedings. Why can’t poor Jen catch a break?!

According to Radar, the 40-year-old businessman still hasn’t cut all ties with his estranged wife Caroline Campbell, despite the fact that they ended their six-year marriage in 2011. After seven years of trying to finalize the divorce, Caroline has some pretty concerning things to say about John in court docs.

In 2016, she said, “I believe he feels satisfaction from controlling me and making me pay the price for ending the marriage.” Caroline also expressed concern for her family, saying, “To avoid scenes, minimize stress on the children, and protect their happy home environment, I usually opt to go along rather than risk John’s anger.”

After dealing with ex-husband Ben Affleck‘s alcoholism and cheating scandal, we’re sure that’s a sentiment Jen, 46, can relate to in the worst way. Friends are worried for that exact reason.

“Pals are really happy Jen is finally moving on after Ben, but they want her to be with someone who will treat her with love and respect,” a friend told Radar. This new guy is an intellectual and obviously a great businessman, but some of the things his ex has said raise a warning flag. “[Her friends] just hope Jen hasn’t been blinded by his charm and good looks.”

News first broke earlier this week that Jen has been seeing the handsome younger man. Us Weekly reported that “they’ve been together six months — and it’s getting pretty serious.” A separate source said that “Jen brings out the best in John, and he is the happiest he has probably ever been. It’s a loving, healthy relationship.” Hopefully it stays that way!
