Oh No!Jennifer Aniston And Courteney Cox Have Reportedly Grown Apart

BFFs for life! Or not. Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox, who co-starred in the hit series Friends, reportedly aren’t close friends anymore. According to Life & Style, “they’ve grown apart over the past few months.”

The insider noted that Courteney’s continued contact with Jen’s ex-husband Justin Theroux is what first caused controversy between the two. “It stung Jen that Court and Justin were in touch. Despite years of her and Courteney being like sisters, Jen felt she couldn’t trust her anymore,” the source said.

Court and her fiancé, Johnny McDaid, have allegedly seen Justin a few times since his late 2017 split from Jen. Justin even attended Johnny’s band Snow Patrol’s concert recently. “It felt like a betrayal,” the source said of Jen’s feelings.

Speaking of betrayal, Jen, 49, reportedly hasn’t been invited to Court’s upcoming wedding. “Court hasn’t invited Jen,” the source revealed. “Jen learned that mutual friends have received ‘save the dates’ while she’s received nothing.” Ouch…

That said, “when Courteney tried to reach out, Jen was cold in her responses.” They reportedly eventually got together in LA in an attempt to work things out. “Jen brought up a lot of issues she felt hurt by, including how shut out she felt from Courteney’s wedding and how she always felt like a third wheel around her and Johnny because of their PDA,” the insider said. “Courteney accused her of being ‘bitter’ and ‘jealous.'”

They allegedly hadn’t spoken much since their LA meeting, and we were worried they wouldn’t be able to make up in time for Courteney’s nuptials (we couldn’t imagine anyone other than Jen as Court’s Maid of Honor!). “Jen said the only way she’d think about rebuilding things would be if Court apologized,” the source noted. “Until then, their friendship as they’ve known it is over.”

However, Jen’s rep denied their feud and the two were seen posing together at the premiere for Jen’s new Netflix movie, Dumplin’, on Dec. 6. That said, it seems despite these reports, the two are on good terms. We guess Court’s alleged apology went a long way!
